Take the survey; we want your feedback

Coral Gables residents and visitors, we think your opinion counts, and we want to hear from you. Take a stand and let us know what you think about the City Beautiful.

Are you happy with your elected officials? Your parks and the services the city provides to you — are they good or bad? Have you applied for a permit lately, for either your home or a business? If so, how did that work for you?

We’d love to find out how you feel about such things, and have put together a survey inside that you can fill out and voice your opinions. We hope you’ll take a moment to mark your answers and then either mail the form to us or drop it by our office. The address is inside, and there are also instructions for taking the survey online if you prefer.

Don’t be shy. Speak your mind. We’re waiting to hear from you.

Fill out my online form.

  1. A quick drive throughout our city will clearly show a decay and needed maintenance in the fountains, streets, sidewalks, and traffic circles, all not up to par for those that have lived here long enough and know the quality of life components in our city. In addition, continued crime and traffic congestion caused by more developments is not anything to write home about. With a rudderless commission that is solely focused on cheerleading and beholden to big developments, it is not taking long for the city to continue losing its luster. Being the best or close to the best in Miami-Dade County is not a true benchmark as Miami-Dade County leaves a lot to be desired. It is about being the best we can be and we have definitely dropped a few notches. The City Beautiful is not as beautiful as it used to be. It is all about quality of life and it is slowly but surely slipping away. Enrique J. Lopez, 1312 Sorolla Avenue, Coral Gables, Florida 33134 305.984.2127
