With Miami real estate prices on the rise and inbound investment pouring into the market at record pace, East Edgewater’s newest luxury condominium is moving onward and upward.

Vertical construction at Biscayne Beach, a 51-story waterfront tower located at 711 NE 29 St. along Biscayne Bay, is well underway with crews already surpassing the fifth-floor level. With one full level expected to be completed every week, the 399-unit project is on track to top off construction and deliver in 2016.

Biscayne Beach is being developed by a joint venture between South Florida-based real estate development firm Eastview Development and GTIS Partners, a global real estate investment firm headquartered in New York with more than $2.3 billion in assets throughout the U.S. and Brazil.

Biscayne Beach currently stands at approximately 95 percent sold, with only a limited selection of recently released penthouses remaining for sale. Measuring up to approximately 12,000 square feet in size, the tower’s ultra-luxury penthouse residences feature 12- to 14-foot ceilings, expansive outdoor living spaces and sweeping views; exclusive two-story upper penthouses include private rooftop terraces with swimming pools and summer kitchens. Preconstruction prices for Biscayne Beach’s penthouse units range up from $2 million.

Boasting a premier waterfront location along Biscayne Bay, Biscayne Beach’s resort-style amenities will include a private members-only Beach Club on the bay with an elevated sandy beach, private cabanas, zero-entry pool, daytime concierge services, as well as a renowned restaurant and bar. All of these features will be set against the backdrop of sweeping Biscayne Bay views, with a public bay walk providing access to the water — complete with bayside piers for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and more.

World-renowned interior design star Thom Filicia — known for his role on the Emmy Award-winning show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy — is creating the sophisticated “beach chic” designs for the project’s common area amenity spaces, Beach Club level, and exclusive residences.
