Miami-Dade Parks Eco AdventuresHave you ever wanted to learn more about Miami’s early history, its residents and the Tequesta Indians? On Sunday, Aug. 31, 9 – 11:30 a.m., join History Miami resident historian Dr. Paul George and a Miami-Dade Parks Eco Adventures guide on an excursion through Biscayne Bay.

Cruise past lush islands, Stiltsville and the Cape Florida Lighthouse, where you may be able to catch a glimpse of dolphins, manatees and other sea life. Learn about the beautiful ecosystems of our area, current conservation efforts and our place in the natural landscape of South Florida.

The tour departs from Miamarina at Bayside Marketplace, located at 401 Biscayne Blvd. The cost is $44 for HistoryMiami members; $54 for non-members, and $25 for children ages 12 and under. Limited seating is available, advanced reservations and payment required.
