Members of the Class of 2015 were recognized for their hard work and dedication during the past four years while attending St. Brendan High School.

The graduation season began with 148 seniors being honored at the annual Honors Convocation and Academic Awards Ceremony held at the Intercontinental Doral on Thursday, May 22.

St. Brendan recognized several individual students for their outstanding sacrifice and devotion to the school and community.

They are:
• Community Service Award – Riley Mullins;
• Academic Improvement Award – Angel Carrasco;
• Personal Growth Award – Gabrielle Moya;
• Leadership Award – Briana Bazail;
• Sabre Award – Alexa Lorenzo;
• Archbishop’s Catholic Leadership Award – Alexandra Gutierrez;
• Principal’s Award – Sabrina Smith; • Male Scholar Athlete – Zuhayr Pigot, and
• Female Scholar Athlete –Jessica Hernandez.

On Wednesday, May 27, the class of 2015 came together to praise God and to thank him for all that He has done for them. The graduation Mass was held at the Church of the Little Flower and celebrated by Fr. Jose Alvarez, president of St. Brendan High School.

Graduation season culminated with St. Brendan’s first ever “live stream” graduation ceremony on Friday, May 29. St. Brendan’s Graduation ceremony took place at the Adrienne Arsht Center in front of a sold-out audience. St. Brendan chose to live stream the broadcast to ensure that all 258 graduating students’ families and friends had an opportunity to view the ceremony.
