Boys and Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade, along with presenting sponsor the Carmen Rebozo Foundation, hosted its 13th annual “Bebe” Rebozo Memorial Golf Classic on Oct. 4 at the Biltmore Hotel. The tournament raised nearly $30,000 for the clubs’ youth development programs.

“We are thankful to the members of the community that year after year support this great event,” said Alex Rodriguez- Roig, executive director for Boys and Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade. “The funds raised from the 13th annual “Bebe” Rebozo Memorial Golf Classic will help us continue to provide the children in our community with high quality youth development programs.”

On the golf course, Williamson Cadillac sponsored the Hole-in-One Contest. The event began with 20 foursomes playing the 18-hole Donald Ross-designed golf course at the historic Biltmore Hotel. Commissioners Joe Martinez and Carlos Gimenez also participated in the fundraiser. The event was followed by a dinner and award ceremony.

This year’s Champion sponsors included: James Bernhardt State Farm Insurance CCU Inc., Alliance Ground International and DeSimone Consulting Engineers. Other sponsors included Matty’s Sports as an Exhibition sponsor and the Law offices of Robert Parks as a Towel sponsor.
