Pipeline — a new shared workspace concept used by a diverse community of entrepreneurs, startups, independent professionals, and small teams — is opening its first location in Miami. It has leased a full floor totaling 14,000 square feet at 1101 Brickell Ave. in the heart of Miami’s Brickell Financial District. Pipeline is a competitively priced shared office space, which utilizes functional and inspirational design to foster productivity, collaboration, co-working and community among its members. The company’s creative workspace offers its community opportunities to share perspectives, exchange ideas, develop business opportunities, and socialize with others.

Pipeline is a welcome alternative to traditional office space and executive office suites. Its members do not sign leases and have the option to use private offices, dedicated desks, flexible spaces, virtual offices and meeting rooms in one of the most prestigious and exclusive office markets in Miami.

In addition to a community and network, Pipeline offers members amenities, such as 24/7 access, receptionist services, high-speed Fiber Internet and Wi-Fi, conference rooms and video conferencing, office machines, abundant parking and company signage in the lobby, and much more. Members also will have access to a social lounge, free gourmet coffee and teas, and event areas.

Furthermore, Pipeline will host networking and educational events, providing an additional forum to discover potential areas for learning, collaboration and business opportunities.

“Different than traditional executive office suites, Pipeline is an inspirational space that will increase members’ productivity and profitability, while giving them a place where they genuinely enjoy working,” said Todd Oretsky, co-founder of Pipeline.

“We believe that creatives, startups, entrepreneurs and professionals can benefit from each other by creating business opportunities, socializing and sharing ideas, and Brickell is at the epicenter of this diverse mix of people.”

Brickell’s burgeoning residential community will benefit from having a creatively designed shared workspace concept close to home. Pipeline aims to integrate the residential community with the existing business district, as Miami’s city center continues to develop into a 24-7 hub. A recent study conducted by the Miami Downtown Development Authority (Miami DDA) indicates that the residential population in the urban core, primarily consisting of young professionals, has grown by 80 percent during the past 10 years. The population is expected to surpass 80,000 residents by 2014.

In the lease transaction, the landlord was represented by Ryan Holtzman, leasing director at Taylor & Mathis, and the tenant was advised by Shay Pope, senior managing director at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

Pipeline will occupy a full floor in the office complex, joining a strong tenant roster that includes Florida International University, TD Bank, BankAtlantic, Consulate General of Argentina, Consulate General of Guatemala, U.S. Post Office and several law firms and creative agencies. The building is located within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and retail services, offers on-site parking and access to multiple public transit options, including the Miami Trolley, Metrorail and Metromover.

“We are excited to have Pipeline as our newest tenant at 1101 Brickell,” said Jerome Hollo, vice president at Florida East Coast Realty, owner of the office property, and Miami DDA board member. “This unique shared workspace concept is an excellent addition not only to our office complex, but to the entire neighborhood, and further solidifies 1101 Brickell as one of the most prominent office addresses on Brickell Avenue.”
