Chef Jimmy Carey recently announced the expansion of the Jimmy’z Kitchen Restaurants to the Brickell/Downtown area with the opening of Jimmy’z Kitchen Brickell.

Strategically located at 60 SW 10 St. in the hub of the Brickell financial district and adjacent to Downtown Miami, the new restaurant will bring to these areas the ingenious concept of a contemporary fastcasual, high-quality chef-inspired model that has previously proven so popular in three other locations — South Beach, Wynwood, and Pinecrest/South Miami.

“We are very excited about this location. For some time now, we knew we wanted to expand and bring the model of Jimmy’z Kitchen to other neighborhoods,” said Carey, owner and concept mastermind behind Jimmy’z Kitchen. “We have chosen the Brickell area because the casual, contemporary menu of Jimmy’z Kitchen fits perfectly in this area which has the demographics to enjoy and embrace the concept.”

Jimmy’z Kitchen, which started with a small bistro in South Beach (1542 Alton Rd.) started its expansion four years ago with the opening in the hip up-and-coming Wynwood Arts District (2700 N. Miami Ave.), followed two years later with the family-friendly restaurant in the South Miami/Pinecrest area (9050 S. Dixie Hwy.).

A budget-friendly chef-inspired menu has garnered the Jimmy’z Kitchen restaurants a loyal base of customers on both sides of Biscayne Bay largely due to a great Zagat rating, consistently high reviews on Yelp and by restaurant critics; and loyal word of mouth.

From its new location in Brickell/Downtown, Carey sees a prime opportunity for professionals to use the takeout, delivery and catering services provided by Jimmy’z Kitchen. Jimmy’z Kitchen 50-plus-dish menu has become the lunch and dinner staple for its loyal customers with a great variety of New American plates to choose from on a daily basis. From healthy salads to hearty entrees and paninis, Jimmy’z Kitchen’s menu fits most culinary preferences.

The menu also includes Latin flavored dishes which have become favorites in the South Florida Hispanic community — especially the Puerto Rican traditional Mofongo dish — which will be available every day of the week.

Jimmy’z Kitchen Brickell — like the Wynwood and Pinecrest locations — will offer in the future a diverse assortment of bottled craft beers and a wide wine selection along with its famous daily chef’s specials.

“I am very proud of the craft beer and wine selections, which I have personally built for Jimmy’z Kitchen and the fun happy hour we will have every day of the week,” Carey said.

Jimmy’z Kitchen Brickell is located at 60 SW 10 St. in the Camden Building next to Mary Brickell Village. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The restaurant offers dinein, take-out, and delivery options.
