Alhambra Orchestra’s holiday concert at Pinecrest Gardens

“A Dance Celebration” will waltz, twirl, and march you into the holidays South Florida style as the Alhambra Orchestra, with conductor Timothy Shade, is in concert on Sunday, Nov. 30, 7:30 p.m., at the Banyan Bowl in Pinecrest Gardens, 11000 Red Rd. in Pinecrest.

The orchestra presents a lively program featuring Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, Strauss’ Radetzky March, Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No. 5, Vaughn- Williams’ Fantasia on Greensleeves, Shostakovich’s Ballet Suite No. 1, medleys of favorite holiday tunes, and of course Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride.

Bring the whole family to enjoy this delightful program. Alhambra Orchestra is Miami’s community orchestra, now celebrating its 25th season of making great music accessible to all. Tickets available at the door are $10 for adults and $5, children. Parking is free.

Tickets also are available in Pinecrest Gardens 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Nov. 30 during the Farmers’ Market. No reservations needed except that large groups should call in advance.
