Rene Prats and his partners at Sir Pizza recently announced the signing of the Miami Marlins as a franchisee in a 10-year deal at the new Marlins Ballpark.
As part of the franchise agreement, Sir Pizza will operate two stands in the Promenade Level, one in the Legends Level and one in the Vista area. With this move, Sir Pizza continues its expansion and presence in South Florida. During the past year, Sir Pizza has grown to include 10 locations in Miami-Dade and Broward as well as a Mobile Truck. Three more locations are slated to open in 2011.
“We are very pleased to be bringing two winning teams together for this joint marketing effort,” said Prats, Sir Pizza South Florida CEO. “We at Sir Pizza are longtime fans and supporters of the Marlins. We’ve waited a long time for a ballpark in this town, and we’re excited to be part of this new era in Marlins’ history. We look forward to a successful partnership over the next 10 years and beyond.”
As the new Marlins Ballpark continues to transform the Miami skyline, the Marlins franchise has been forging deals with vendors to supply food at the site. The overall mission for the Marlins is to offer superior quality food that represents all the wonderful flavors and tastes that make up this multicultural community. Sir Pizza is one of those unique tastes.
“We are very pleased to announce a partnership with Sir Pizza,” said David Samson, Marlins president. “Pizza is a critical component of the ballpark experience and Sir Pizza is the best. The quality is first class and will be enjoyed by Miami Marlins fans for decades to come.”
