Classical South Florida (CSF) is pleased to welcome Wilmington Trust Company as a Leadership Circle sponsor of “From the Top”, heard Sunday evenings at 7:00 p.m. through April. “From the Top” is the preeminent national program featuring young classical musicians. “What sets “From the Top” apart in classical music programming is the spark it creates between the next generation of audiences and the next generation of performers,” said Néstor Rodriguez, President of Classical South Florida (CSF). “Young musicians from many backgrounds from all over the country perform with magnificent skill, joy and style!”

Each broadcast features five young musicians, who range in age from 8 to 18, and the program includes interviews which bring out each performer’s unique personality. Like any group of tweens and teens, some are shy, many are charming, and most are refreshingly opinionated! Skits and games reveal the musicians’ interests and life experiences, which are sometimes hilarious and sometimes surprisingly moving.

“We are honored to welcome Wilmington Trust to the Classical South Florida family of Leadership Circle program sponsors. Their support ensures regional broadcast of one of the most esteemed classical radio programs, which is embraced by fans of all ages,” stated Rob Davis, Director of Development for Southeast Florida for Classical South Florida.
