Turnberry Isle Miami, Aventura’s most luxurious resort, was the ideal venue for an Aventura Marketing Council Chairman’s Roundtable meeting featuring property and hospitality expert Sam Azar, now hosting FOX TV’s new Saturday morning series Living in Luxury.
Past AMC Chair Bob Hollander of Brown & Brown Insurance of Florida welcomed business and community leaders along with Turnberry Isle Miami Managing Director Jon Gersonde, Director of Sales and Marketing Skip James, Hotel Manager Philippe Larrieu and Catering Director Stephen Jackson. They invited the community to discover the resort’s new and impressive amenities, noting membership isn’t necessary to enjoy all the luxuries.
Before Azar previewed upcoming Living in Luxury segments highlighting premier developers, architects, designers, realtors and exclusive properties, AMC members learned more about Turnberry Isle Miami – an Autograph Collection property that is part of a boldly original ensemble of hotels heralded as, “Nothing less than unique, nothing short of collectively exceptional.”

Since the meeting was held just before Thanksgiving, Azar began by listing some of the things he’s most thankful for: “The real estate market comeback, being a resident of Aventura, and for representing the FOX Network on Living in Luxury.”
A foremost ambassador for the South Florida property industry, Azar has been recognized for his skills in real estate, business development, contract negotiation and luxury properties. He explained, “Living in Luxury is about the beautiful properties and ‘glam’ people expect to see in Miami real estate. The real stars are my guests – they’re the realtors, developers, architects, designers and all those who make it happen.”
