Seeing is believing, says Fanny Korn, who is confident that shoppers will find the right jewelry accessory or gift whenever they drop in to see her at Fanny’s Touch, in the Days Hotel Thunderbird Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach.

Not everyone, Korn says, knows how to accessorize or pick the right gift –– and there’s no need to be shy about it.

“Over the years,” she says, “I’ve developed customers who come to me with their seasonal wardrobe, so I could put it all together for them. I have just always been able to find a comfort level for them.”

While Fanny’s Touch is very women-oriented, she does carry items things that would be just right for a man as well. Her inventory is hand-picked from a worldwide search for the distinctive and unusual –– and with an eye on a broad range of prices.

“Fanny’s Touch is always affordable,” Korn says. “I know the market and choose my merchandise well. My customers always tell me they find it to be a real fun place. It’s the smallest store with the greatest choice of personal accessories. I offer the unusual, and target the mature woman who has outstanding taste. I don’t stock anything junky. What I have is attractive –– and there’s something for every type of occasion.”

For the current holiday season, she says, she is carrying, among other things, pieces from the Far East, including Thailand. Among current stand-outs are some unusual and attractive mirror compacts.

Korn is multilingual, speaking “about six languages.” Hailing from Curacao originally, she has also lived for a time in Israel.

“There’s nothing like accessorizing with a price of unique affordable jewelry,” she says, “to enhance one’s appearance and self-esteem.”

Fanny’s Touch is located at 18401 Collins Ave., Sunny Isles Beach, 443-621-8612. Call for appointment anytime. Parking is available across from the hotel at 185th and Collins close to Navarro Drugstore.
