All-stars from Restoration USA, Genesis Media and Warren Henry Auto Group recently teamed up with Orange Bowl Committee CEO Eric Poms for an Aventura Marketing Council Chairman’s Roundtable meeting scoring points with business and community leaders.
Kicking off the event at Christine Lee’s at Gulfstream Park, AMC Chair Cliff Schulman of Weiss, Serota, Helfman helped welcome fans cheering for the Orange Bowl – one of the world’s top annual sporting events that has served as college football’s national title game more than any other Bowl.
When the mic was passed to Poms, he shared the great news about the upcoming 2013 Discover Orange Bowl (Jan. 1) and the 2013 Discover BCS National Championship Game (Jan. 7) coming to Sun Life Stadium along with a myriad of exciting surrounding events and fanfare.
“This year’s economic impact and exposure will be tremendous for the South Florida community,” Poms said, going on to explain the new post-season college football model and the bidding process for future national championship games. “It’s going to get very competitive. There are a lot of communities vying for these events because the prestige is invaluable. We feel strongly about our potential because our history and tradition as wellas our incomparable climate and the hotels are first-class.
“The success of this year’s two BCS bowl games can enable South Florida and the Orange Bowl Committee to continue organizing great events and community outreach programs. Everybody wants to be here – and with your support, we can ensure that both visitors and a national broadcast audience will see this community shine!”
