Dr. Bilu Martin was raised in the Aventura area. She completed her undergraduate degree at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and earned her MD degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, one of the best medical schools in the world. Her dermatology residency was performed at the University of Maryland, where she trained with many pioneers of the field. She returned home to join private practices in South Beach and Aventura for several years, culminating in the opening of her own practice.
As a Board-Certified dermatologist, Dr. Bilu Martin is an expert in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She specializes in cosmetic procedures, such as: injectable fillers, neurotoxins, sclerotherapy, chemical peels, laser/light treatments, skin care regimens, and more. Her personalized, conservative approach results in a natural, soft look that never appears “overdone.” She is highly dedicated to the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer. Dr. Bilu Martin is a volunteer instructor in dermatology at the University of Miami School of Medicine and serves on the editorial advisory board for Skin & Allergy News, where she is the editor of the “Make the Diagnosis” column. She is a mentor for Women of Tomorrow at North Miami Beach Senior High school, the very high school she attended. She is fluent in Hebrew and conversational in Spanish.
