PNC Bank’s newest location – Aventura Green Branch® is open and serving the community at 2711 NE 187th St. The branch team provides complete financial services, including a wide range of checking accounts, loans, mortgages, wealth management, investment services, insurance and small business banking solutions to help consumers bank with ease and confidence. PNC was the first major U.S. bank to apply green building standards to all newly constructed or renovated retail offices. It is the only bank permitted to use the term Green Branch® based on its registered trademark. To date, PNC has completed more than 170 Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design® (LEED) projects, including more newly constructed LEEDcertified green buildings (100+) than any company on Earth.
PNC’s green building strategies focus on improving customer and employee comfort and satisfaction by implementing specific green measures, which include:
• Energy Efficiency: PNC’s newly constructed branches are approximately 35 percent more energy efficient than a traditional branch through the use of LED lights, highefficiency mechanical systems, ENERGY STAR® equipment, highly-insulated building facades and windows, occupancy sensors and sensors that control dimmable light fixtures as natural sunlight increases.
• Water Efficiency: Water usage is reduced by approximately 30 percent through the use of low-flow fixtures.
• Materials: PNC diverts approximately 50 percent of construction waste from landfills and uses local building materials that are made from recycled or green materials.
The Aventura branch is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Drive-thru service is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is 24-hour ATM service.
