Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar has selected beautiful Hallandale Beach to open its third location serving Latin-inspired flavors in a festive ambience. Paladar’s first location opened in Cleveland, Ohio in 2007, and a second location followed in Annapolis, MD in 2010.
“Paladar isn’t a traditional Latin restaurant. We serve a fresh interpretation of Latin fare — guests can look to us for comforting meals with a creative twist. Situated in the crossroads of South Florida, we’re a great fit for business lunches, group celebrations, romantic evenings, and everything in between,” explains Andy Himmel, Co President of Paladar Latin Kitchen and Rum Bar.
Executive Chef Orlando Arroyo draws inspiration from his Mexican roots. Inspired by Central & South America, Cuba and the Caribbean, Paladar’s menu brings a wide variety of inventive dishes and Arroyo’s interpretation of traditional Latin comfort foods. Appetizers range from freshly-made guacamole to Scallop Grapefruit Ceviche to Plantain Crusted Crab Croquetas. Featured entrees include “Ocho Hora” Braised Short Ribs, Blackened Fish Tacos, Mojo Marinated Atlantic Salmon, and Tamarind BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich.
No Paladar experience is complete without a hand-muddled mojito or a specialty rum cocktail. Paladar embraces Latin cocktail culture with its unique Rum Bar featuring an assortment of over 50 rums available as rum flights or tasting-size pours. The selection includes flavored and spiced rums, white rums, gold rums, dark rums and aged rums. The drink menu also features Caipirinhas, Margaritas, and a wide selection of beers, wines, and other spirits.
Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar is located in The Village at Gulfstream Park and will be open seven days a week, Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 12am and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 1am. Brunch will be served on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm. Takeout and catering will be available.
