Marina Palms Yacht Club & Residences officially introduced itself to South Florida with a grand opening party to remember. The event took place in the project’s 10,000 square foot, on-site, state-of-the-art sales center in North Miami Beach. The sales center features a full-scale two-bedroom model that is well-appointed with high-end finishings and appliances.
More than 800 people attended the party including many real estate professionals who were anxious to see what all of the buzz was about and learn first-hand about Miami- Dade’s first condominium/private marina to be built in more than two decades. The development team made nine sales during the party, totaling more than seven-million dollars.
Among the guests were many well-known officials, including North Miami Beach Mayor George Vallejo, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Sally Heyman, and several NMB councilmembers. They all participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the new sales center’s opening just prior to the party’s start.
“I couldn’t be more pleased with the turnout,” said Anthony Burns, principal of The DevStar Group. “We really wanted to reach out to the community and show that Marina Palms will play a significant role in the local economy as well.”
The party’s sponsors included The Ferretti Group, South Florida Luxury Guide, Bartenura and Yates Magazine. Ferretti brought in two yachts for display in the marina– a Ferretti 720 and a Riva Rivale.
The FerrettiYacht 720, exceeding 70’, was refined with sporty exterior lines, spacious interiors and comfort and ease of handling. Its interiors were further enlarged by vast natural light, showing guests its capability of having exceptional live-ability. Guests also stepped aboard the Riva Rivale, a 52-footer with large cabins, a comfortable dining-area and a cockpit which satisfies all demands for outside living.
“The Marina Palms party was one of the top five parties I produced in my 20+ years of catering,” said Chef Gary Lampner, owner of EggWhites, a widely-acknowledged firstclass catering company. “It was a large-scale yet tasteful event, with a diverse crowd and lots of excitement.”
