Israeli Ambassador to speak about how Israel must be prepared

Barry and Patricia Goldstein, Chairs of American Friends of Porto Vita Friends of Magen David Adom, are proud to announce that Ellen and Herb Moelis will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for their commitment to life and the People and State of Israel at Porto Vita’s Annual Celebration of Life Dinner.

Throughout the evening, two ambulances will be on display and dedicated before being shipped to save lives in Israel. The first is being dedicated by Herb Moelis’ children in honor of his birthday and the other from Porto Vita Founder Morris Deakter and his family.

Event will take place on Thurs., Feb. 24th at 6:30 p.m. at the Villa Grande Club at Porto Vita, 20105 NE 38th Court in Aventura. During the evening, Israeli Ambassador Danny Biran will speak about how Israel must be prepared.

“Now is the time we must come together to support MDA in every way – in our words, in our actions, in our contributions, and in our hearts,” said Chairman Barry Goldstein.

All proceeds will help support the vital lifesaving services of Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s only government-mandated ambulance and emergency medical responders, providing medical, disaster, ambulance and blood services.
