FIU’s Prestige Cultural Series at the Biscayne Bay Campus announces date changes

The Prestige Cultural Series held on the Biscayne Bay Campus of Florida International University announces date changes for two of the remaining events in 2014.

The date changes are as follows: The “Mystery Theater” Gourmet Lunch, originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 11:30 a.m, has been MOVED to Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 11:45 a.m. The final event, “Raise a Glass” Gourmet Dinner scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. has been MOVED to a Gourmet Lunch on Tuesday April 8, 2014 at 11:45 a.m. These events are produced in partnership with FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.

The Prestige Cultural Series features students from FIU’s Theater and Music Departments. The 3-course gourmet meals are planned, created and served by FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management students. The March event features an exciting theatrical experience coordinated by Professors Lesley-Ann Timlick and Dr. Mary A. Kauffman. The April event features a wine adventure with one of FIU’s world renowned Wine Experts.

Vice Provost Steven Moll said, “Our spring events promise to be as exciting and successful as our first two events in the series, and we hope to fill the rooms again with our friends from the community who appreciate good food and wine.”
