In Aventura, it’s never dull or boring and just when you think you know how your day’s gonna go – anything can happen when you least expect it…
Clicker War: You never expected you wouldn’t have cable for almost a month due to a “facilities issue.” So you come up with the great idea to watch the American Idol finale on the big screen in the building’s exercise room…after all, who will be in there at 8 p.m. at night?? Turns out there’s one guy holding the clicker, tuning into a basketball playoff game. Don’t dare ask to change the channel – unless you happen to be a super model; have a lot of cash on you; or you’re muscular enough to win the “clicker war.”
House Beautiful: After searching for the perfect sofa, you find just what you’re looking for and get a great deal on the floor sample. Unfortunately, a couple of days after it’s delivered, you notice a damage and can’t return it. But then, you see an ad in Aventura Magazine for a new furniture store and when you stop by, you unexpectedly find another sofa you fall in love with. So you give away the first one and when the new one is delivered it’s in perfect condition – too bad they damage your door and walls while moving it in!
Water Logged: Leaks happen – but when they cause mold you’re allergic to you may have to move to a new home. Once you’re settled in, you’ll start to feel much better… until there’s an unexpected knock on your door and the building engineer informs you that your new place has a new leak. The good news is Aventura’s Sports Authority has a great selection of waterproof gear – and Aventura Mall stores sell very fashionable raincoats and galoshes!
Expect the Best: Unexpected things can happen – but when you live in Aventura, you can always expect some of the best things in life – like free valet parking while they’re renovating the plaza where your favorite bagel place is!
