One of the numerous life lessons parents try to teach their children in life is to brush their teeth after every meal or at least twice a day. And with all of those in the community unemployed or without dental insurance, what could be worse than suddenly encountering a problem with your teeth?!
Dr. Rick Mars, Dr. Joel Glicksman and Dr. Coussa understand that dilemma and for the third year in a row, The Dental Care Group and Aventura Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics teams in Aventura and Pembroke Pines will donate their time and talent to treat underprivileged children and adults.
The 3rd annual Dentistry from Our Hearts program will take place on Sunday, February 9th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with services including exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, x-rays and emergency care.
With the help of their hygienists, clinical and administrative teams last year, The Dental Care Group treated over 400 adults and children at both their Aventura and Pembroke Pines offices, donating over $150,000 in dental care.
