Extreme Condo Renovations…Crane Watch…Scene to be Seen…Love in the Elevator… These are just some of the diverse hot topics over 150,000 eyeballs will be riveted to each month following the launch of Vertical Living – the new high-rise lifestyle magazine available now in Aventura and surrounding cities.

Heralded as an “upscale, interactive, reader-friendly boutique magazine,” Vertical Living is the brainchild of Poli Newman Milhem, who has called the Aventura area home since before the city incorporated in 1995. Renowned for entrepreneurial pursuits such as creating one ofAventura’s first publications as well as producing successful direct TV products and marketing campaigns, Milhem has also been involved in buying, renovating, building and re-selling properties throughout South Florida for over 20 years.

The debut of Vertical Living Magazine coincides with booming condo news that since the start of 2014, Miami-Dade County is “bucking a national slowdown – posting a 12.9 percent increase in existing condo sales,” according to a Herald report. Today, the region’s latest construction boom is evidenced by developers proposing at least 138 new condo towers with more than 18,500 units for the tri-county region of coastal Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach – over and above nearly 49,000 units that have risen since 2003 in South Florida’s largest coastal markets.

Beyond providing news and insights into the condo market, Vertical Living’s entertaining, informative issues will include engaging features on art, interior décor, style trends, health, beauty, fitness, social events, attractions, celebrity neighbors, controversial issues and thought provoking ideas.
